The people in the audience that used to be really really creative.
In the past, you would see some teenage kid that spent DAYS turning an old bathrobe into one of Ric Flair wrestling robes. Complete with feathers and glitter. Or the really creative signs.
Nowdays, all you see are the foam finger signs and lame ass white cardboard signs with YOU SUCK or WHAT?! written on them in shoe polish.
I remember one live match (back when they were mostly non televised) that featured Jimmy Garvin and Jimmy 'Boogie Woogie Man' Valiant against some nobodies. There were about 15 dudes in the audience dressed up like ZZ TOP singers with long beards and guitars, acting out the video of the song Sharp Dressed Man when Garvin and Vialant came out.
