Post up 10 things you remember about when you first joined the forums on Elite Fitness. It could be the first day, week, month, year, but give us all an idea of what life was like here...

When I first joined Elite Fitness...

1) I was an e-flirter
2) I read the between the sheets forum exclusively
3) I thought that having 10,000+ posts meant you had no life
4) There was no such thing as the platinum search yet, or G-bombs
5) Karma whoring was in full effect
6) There were lotsa good bros all around
7) George Spellwin posted a lot more
8) WODIN was already really really old
9) Theron Moten was in da house
10) AAP was still Anal Assplorer
 
and chicks posted nekkids w/o getting accused of being whores.

My earliest EF memory was heather getting bombed several times in my first two weeks here lol.
 
1- There was no karma

2- No Plat, only a "Select board" for which you could access for a little fee

3- E2 was still around

4- Fonz was a newbie

5- Digger wasnt around yet. It was another guy named "LEO"

6- PCT strictly with clomids were common.

7- The common Anti-E was novaldex. Only a few lucky and fortunate$ could afford armimidex (that was before all these UG labs).

8- Ef was mostly about the AAS board.

9- May1010 was the resident queen

10- The real Theron was here...

My first memory of EF was how nice HR was to me when most of the other women here were being mean witches.

I also recall many bombs all over and how brutally retarded some peeps were. EF has cleaned up nicely though
 
i didn't post on chat ever- only on the powerlifting board and there were very few women.

Most times the other posters didn't realize I was female.

Becoming was the first guy to chat with me about lifting.

When I first joined I only posted on AAS forum and after about a year I came onto Chat and made a post and got bombed by everyone!!!

I googled something and came up with Cornholio's "Old School" workout. I couldn't read the whole thing fast enough. I LOVED it. I gained 30 pounds on that training and will never forget it because it brought me back into lifting. Thanks Corn! (and Frorider for being the test subject. lol)

So I was on the training board for a while and I somehow ventured into here after a while. Now I don't ever go to the training board, because I think they got rid of it. Shame.


First thread I made on C&C, I got blasted with stuff from Y_Lifter among others, I remember. I thought to myself "Why the hell are these people blasting me like this? Are they insane? It was great.

I faintly remember me being a mod at one time. Not really sure if that's true or not. It might be a rumor.

I remember getting bored here and going into the AAS board to mess with those guys. Too funny.

Hidden K hreads.

Blatant K threads.

Lestat interviews. They were great, and I actually would have wanted to get interviewed from him at some point, until he lost my respect.

Good times.

When I first joined EF I was recomended by a friend. I spent my time in the diet forum and the weight lifting forum. for about a month or so... then started lurking in C&C... but in all reality, I'm still a newb to EF

This is pretty much what I would've said too.
 
Here in August, 2006. I posted exclusively in the Women's Forum. I'd lurk in C&C. The Shadow Plan, beautiful Florencia, Treilin, and *Bunny*'s journals, amongst many other wonderful competitor's. The most lovely Angel Ilk. Sadly they're gone.
 
1. Some people thought I was an alter.
2. Pick3 was still a MO.
3. JH1 was still around.
4. KB was still around.
5. Phaded was still around.
6. This place was funny.


I can't think of anything else at the moment.
 
It was funny and not full of race and religion threads.

Posters were original instead of doing nothing but parody threads and gay posts.

Grown ass people weren't treated like children.

I was considering giving the site my money.

I don't remember whining about getting red, that was expected, I whined when people asked mods to ban or timeout people for using a feature the site provided to its members.

Just go back through your k history and see the threads. They were all locked or deleted, but they're there.

On a humorous note, I think Lumberg was the biggest bomb meltdown.

I've definitely complained when some fools redded me, I just tried to never be the pot calling the kettle black when it was a bomb.

and yeah I was amazed at how lumberg lost his shit over the bombs! I think his response really galvanized the "bomb squad" which at that point was like 2 people, 4 at best, but once people saw the commotion it caused and the reaction it could get out of people, its ranks quickly swelled to well over 20 people (not including alters).

When I first joined EF,

Frackal had not yet met kartchick, this became major drama later on.
RyanH, kakdiesel, may1010 and satanic goatslayer were major posters.
There was no karma and no Plat.
Captain Awesome was a major pain in the ass.
Captain Insano on the other hand was a cool dude, if cocky.
There were a lot fewer sub-forums.
Anyone could post pics, chewing up heaps of bandwidth.
I was on dial-up.

i spent all my time in the training forum and shortly fell in love with posters such as BFold, Spatts, Polishammer, Louden Swain, revexrevex, From Zero, Slobberknocker, etc.

i ventured over the chat and my fave posters were Tiger88 and Seashell. good tymes.

then lumberg e-flirted so i married him

It was all about the AAS forum.

he first time I ventured onto the site was to find info about my Organon Redi-jects that had a yellow tine and the general consensus at first was that they were fake. I made by dealer buy them back and later found out they were real. LOL.

other tahn that, Hot chicks posted lots off ass shots and there weren't nearly as many members. Took forever to get a lot of posts.

Ahhh, The good ol days!

C&C was "fast & furious" and had tears of joy in my eyes

cornholio/the shadow laughed at my jokes and traded replies with me and became my very first e-friend.

i pwned KAYNE on a regular basis

ryanH and i traded replies and insults all night long

AAP was still a wanna-be

i still had hopes of becoming a mod here eventually

i had not done any cycles or messed up my lower back and could still enjoy lifting and sweating in the gym

casavant proved that a crowd pleasing body and thoughtfull, witty, intelligent threads were possbile in the same guy

this website was not nearly as "politically correct" as it is now

i remember luvs2juice, special bill, thick dawg, agentshagwell, 2thick, and a whole cast of great characters. 8 years is a long time. i don't care what anybody says.

the flame wars used to make me laugh so hard that i couldn't breathe. special bill owned havoc.
 
The women's forum is what drew me and kept me on EF. There was no other place like it anywhere.

I was the second FEMALE elite mod in EF history, Mrs Texas_Guns who was the first is still my friend to this day all these years later. This was an honor that I ALWAYS took seriously and still do to this day. Many of the elite mods today weren't even present on the site!

Lobo was my mentor and my friend. He ran the board like no other since then. I miss him terribly.

There was tremendous respect on the boards. No questions asked. I am happy to say that has finally been brought back to a great degree.

The chat board while always was akin to swimming with sharks was never remotely base, mindless and personally harsh or demeaning to ANYONE yet still managed to be unbelievably entertaining - the wit and humor was first class; razor sharp.

BTS board was not in existance. GS had a contest and I believe that Lady D came up with the winning name. EVERYONE shared their views on human sexuality. Women were not put down or made to feel unwelcome for daring to post their opposing points of view. And yes, it was true. Women posted all sorts of provocative posts and photos without being called horrible names either in the BTS forum or any place else.

plifter was the only person in elite history to be banned by George Spellwin himself and quite publicly on chat.

good times...

It's nice to be reminiscent, true. But I have seen so much progress in the recent past and look forward to all the improvements on the horizon! I have to say for the first time in a long time this nostalgic trip down memory lane was not nearly as gratifying as the excitement I feel when I see glimpses of what lies ahead for us all. :)

My friends Saint, citrus, nicole, txgrl, El dandy, gymrat, paulos, trojan, strider, ladyviking, millie, BOSS(Yes we pissed people off) and bronzegoddess all posted here. Also people hated me here then...wait!!! I'm still hated. :) Still a karma whore after all this time.

Gosh, when I first got here, I lurked in the women's forum and I posted lots in the pictures of members section congratulating people on their hard work.

Then, I found my way to chat and was insulted and abused daily. Jack schitt dropped 13 bombs on me IN ONE DAY. Human Target belittled me in every way imaginable...lol....good times.

I even had a 3 day long fight with muscle mom about deadlifts or something silly...LOL.

I did about 300mgs of test/week for about 11 weeks at age 39
I got it from a HRT doc even though my test levels were high
I sort of twisted his arm
I read all the PCT shit here and did clomid after my cycle
and crashed something horrible
I've never been so down
I was miserable
I took up drinking again after being sober for almost 9 years

I was on here at these times too, then they changed things and added plat and if you didnt log on for 3 weeks you lost your screen name...........I was always on the anabolic board..............I remember 2thick was also on here when E2 was
 
Spatts ran the womens board and had one of the best assvatars of all time.
C&C crew was Jerkbox, Bilestew, BigDawg, Seashell :rose:
Tigger88 made me laugh like crazy and made the first thread about me and a boobvatar.
Little aap was photochop king.
