When do you listen & when do you suck it up and do it ...

Did back, and felt amazingly invigorated as I finished my last rep. And then I felt tired again. So I left.

Then I realize, ah sh*t, I have to grill tonite because I have no food for tomorrow.

So I fire up grill and prepare my chicken & stuff.

Then the propane runs out.

Off to Home Depot to swap out propane tanks. Did you know they have a self-serve propane exchange now there?? (LOL, probably...)

So now I'm re-firing up the grill. I"m still tired.

Looking forward to the sore back tomorrow and now I gotta hit that AM cardio...

I'm sorry I could focus on a damn thing you wrote, I could peel my eyes off your bicep peaks.

:finger2:

Pay attention dammit vel. Don't you know how important it is that I got my propane refilled???

damn.

Oh and that should read COULD NOT and not could.
Glad we could clear that up.

I seem to do that a lot lately and it's a problem.

So, what did you cook?

And what was occupying you during that time, pray tell?

Vel - chicken breasts & turkey patties. wohoo!

So Sassy,

How ya feeling today? I"m glad you posted this because I was feeling the exact same way you felt yesterday. I couldn't get to the gym (I go during lunch) because my boss wouldn't quit finding work for me to do, lmfao. I was mad,and guilty all at the same time. Time doesn't permit me to go after work, and I knew I was on my way to feeling lazy by the time I got home. I hurried through 5 minutes of cardio, I just couldn't focus, and went on to do my workout. 42 minutes later and I felt like a punching bag. 55 minutes later and I felt GREAT, and proud of myself! Today I feel like a truck rolled off of me. I don't care, I'm hitting the gym at lunch time today. So how you?

As soon as I get started I love it. I NEVER dislike the lifting part of it. Lifting has always been VERY cleansing for me -- spiritually, mentally, physically. The challenge there is I need to watch the OVER training. I could've done 3-4 more back exercises, but after what I did already, it becomes redundant and actually starts working against the purpose.

I really dread cardio tho. I really have to be "in the zone" and I was already tired going in. The cardio is ALWAYS what makes the difference for me so that really needs to be a priority going in.

I slept like a rock tho and I'm not what I'd call "sore" today.
