Ok, as most people know very well...I NEVER diet. What is the point? I can eat sensible and in large amounts and continue to grow while staying "decently" lean. Do I have ripped abs? NO!!! Am I big? YES!!!

If people start dieting in December to get ready for Spring Break (March) then diet a little more to look good for Summer (May-August) then get started back to school/job/etc..., then they spend a while planning their diet out and never really eating enough to gain much....OR they find that they don't have time to diet or they start to get afraid of getting fat again...and the next thing that you know it is December...AGAIN............WHEN THE HECK DO YOU EVER BULK???!!!

People tend to forget that if you are dieting...you probably should have bulked first. If you only diet or restrict your kcals...you are NOT going to get BIG or HUGE!!! You are also not going to become insanely strong either!!!

As I have said time after time...set short-term goals. Set long-term goals. Make DARN sure that your short-term goals assist your long-term goals. Dieting for 9 months out of the year WILL NOT accomplish much except for keeping you skinny and weak.

Make a plan and stick to it. I make my plans for 8 weeks as well as 6 months and one year plans. They all tie into one another too. Do yours???

Think people...think.

i'm doing a ckd diet and i'm losing too much strength. that's hindering my new goals that i made yesterday.

would it be possible to get leaner while eating good to gain strength/size by doing a tiny bit of cardio but not enough to go below my BMR?

I usually bulk 3-4 months a year where i eat till Im going to puke every meal... then I eat slightly above BMR... probably around 300-500 cals or so for another 3-4 months.. then I cut the other portion of the time.... However my cutting diets compared to others are a lot less stressful... I don't reduce my calories by too much.. take the weight loss nice and slow...

I generally bulk from sept to early spring, then drop some bf for summer. This time I'm bulking for alomst 10 months straight then getting ready for a contest in the fall

bump? maybe this might not be possible due to my bodytype and it would only work for somebody like B?
