Yeah i dont need the pre workout for motivation to go but a preworkout and in my case n2kts and attack just help me push alittle harder. I figure i might as kill it if im thereI relate it to drinking yeah you can have fun without alcohol but once you've been drunk going out sober is never the same
Once you've had a lil boost and your veins are throbbing your muscles are gorged with blood and you have energy to keep going and going what you can normally lift for 8 reps you just hit 10... well you get the idea!
