Weird question. But a good one.
I'd have to say it was a toss up between making the decision to pull the plug on my mother and then watch her die(all of this after not seeing her for over two years and learning that she was addicted to every drug under the sun and also a prostitute)after she was deemed braindead.
Or losing the woman I loved dearly for the last six years to my best friend.
All goes to show you how interesting life can be...

Reading some of these replies makes me really embarrased to tell you mine. I guess I am really, really lucky that nothing horrible has happened to me.
The weirdest thing that ever happened to me was when I was punched in the face by a bum. I was on my way to my husband's(then boyfriend) house. I had to stop in 7-11. There was a guy standing in front talking to himself. This is a normal occurance, so I didn't think anything of it. I parked my car and got out. He started walking towards me. I though he was gonna ask me for money. Instead he said, "hi, how are you doing" then punched me in the face.
I was sooo shocked. I walked past him and into 7-11 really dazed and confused. Then blood started pooring out of my nose. Anyway the cops came and my parents showed up. My dad followed him with his car to his house. In turns out he was mentally ill. He didn't hit me really hard. Just hard enough to break the skin under my nose. My nose wasn't broken and I had no bruising at all.
The funniest part was that my neighbors also showed up to see if I was okay. People kept on asking them what I did to piss him off. You believe that crap? They just blame the girl automatically.
6 months later infront of Carvel, a bum grabbed my arm. I had to literally push him off me. He followed me to my car and just stared at me as I pulled out. I guess I am a true "bum magnet".
