What's the best brand of cell phone?

I had verizon for years - they pissed me off to such an extent at there store when I wanted to upgrade my service add a family plan I cancelled my service and I went to cingular, loved the idea of the roll over minutes and then they combined with ATT and honestly I have no big complaints with reception or service.

the best I've had was LG (they bought Qualcom) by far, better than all the bigger, better known companies. I just need a basic phone, no frills, but it has a better quality sound than any other and it does have an outstanding (loud and clear) external speaker for traveling.
I will agree that verizon sales guys and gals are pains and asses
For example: Before Xmas my wife wants a new phone, but she wasn't due for an upgrade till Jan 28th
At the time the phone was 79.99
so I'm like ok, give me a $80 gift card
He's like "that's a sale price on that phone, 3rd generation, blah friggan blah"
I KNEW the phone would be less after xmas
this phone has been out for about 6 months
the older the cheaper
So, long story short I'm like whatever give me a 100 dollar gift card, figuring she could get acces. and such.
Day after xmas they are advertising that phone, buy one get one free
I hate dishonest, lying , commision based salesmen
and this is coming from someone who is a salesman

I really REALLY LOVE my LG... I have to find the model. It's the one that Rober Downey J'rs character had in Ironman (He played Ironman). I got it for $29.99 at Best Buy in December 07 and I LOVE IT. It is SUPER for the features that you want. Very VERY easy to handle with one hand (IMHO GREAT FEATURE for texting) and SUPER easy to use (not complicated) and MY GOD - the pics it takes are SPECTACULAR! Also takes video.

I also LOVE the bigger screen. I can actually see the images that are sent or that I take... pretty important when you get old and can't see so good n'more. LOL

Hey, there are those of us that are technologically challenged and we are looking for a simple product that does what we want it to do.
If I had my girls with me, then they could explain this shtuff to me.
Sorta like the way they explained to my parents how to used the microwave when they were like FOUR.
