What's for lunch.............................

lunch? i'm cooking dinner right now.
roasted chicken on the grill. sweet potatos, and salad.

hubby changed my oil today, and got my car cleaned. thought i'd make him a nice dinner.

Some orange peel chicken sounds good right now, but Changs is like 50 minutes away, and I haven't gotten my shit moving on a paper and catch up reading. U were right this shit was hilarious, and I impulsively keep coming back to get peeks of the pile up action going on from this wreck.
Get some Thai, spicy flames would match the mood here.
 
I just had Chinese take-out. Szechuan beef. It was good. I got the luncheon special with soup and egg roll. I chose Hot & Sour Soup for my soup selection, and got steamed rice instead of fried.

For dinner I'm gonna get a margherita pizza.
 
Anyone eaten at Sonic before? There's one a couple miles from my house and was thinking about going there today for my cheat meal. Only cheat meal for the week, are they worthy?

I don't think there is a Sonic around here....What kind of food do they serve??
 
im starving. i ate breakfast but that was it. im making BBQ chicken (sweet baby rays) and some roasted green peppers. yah. im gonna go cook this right now

It's some kind of burger drive in type place. I just noticed on the website they have some sort of ice cream mixed with oreo, m&m's, reese's peanut butter cups, and butterfingers. I'm there!

they have some good popcorn chicken...burgers and shit arent very good imo. Get a cherry limeade!

I think their burgers are decent. They are essentially the same style as the burgers at the old Mom-n-Pop Dairy Freeze roadside attraction joints that used to line the highways back in the '50s and '60s before the Interstate system was finished and we all had to travel the country on the 2-lane highways.

If you weren't alive during that time, I can see how you might not "get" Sonic's burgers.

mofo. i dont have any garlic powder. this sucks. oh well they will be nongarlic roasted green peppers iguess

They sell tubes (carefull) of crushed garlic in the salad/vegetable area of the supermarket. That is the best and easist way to get my max. daily supply of garlic!!!

Maybe its just the one I've been to. I've only been to one.

As for drive in's, well you see, I'm from a really small town. We still have a Mom n Pops ice cream and burger stand (The Karette, its been there since the 60's) and a drive in theater. I understand it, and appreciate them as they're some damn good eatin. Maybe I just gotta try a different Sonic.

im just looking for some seasoning for my roasted green pepps.

when i cook italian dishes, I only use fresh garlic
 
i have a recipe for the BEST roasted garlic butter EVER if anyone wants it. it's fattening (cause it's butter) but SO damn good and FULL of garlic. if i have people over i'll make it and it goes so fast.

btw, the pan to catch the drippings isn't for making chicken fat soup, it's so that fat doesn't drip into the flames and burn the chicken.
