What would be your top choices if you were getting a new computer?

Dell.. of course... is there any other brand of computer????? And wait for the price drop... although I think Dell still offers the 3 month price guarantee.............

I'd go with a Sun Ultra10, maybe a 250 if you want to drop a few benjamins.

bah thats all my company uses is Suns, They are like the Microsoft of Unix. The only place to get Sun support is Sun.

Id go with a Dual Processor Board Running Slackware, or FreeBSD...
