Samson, I understand your turmoil but a suggestion; don't look. When the lover is ready the nympho will appear, to paraphrase an old adage.
When we want something, we can be so busy looking that we miss the whole shebang. I was trying to avoid women when I found the one I was 'meant' for.
You obviously get on pretty well with yourself; it may be an idea to explore this relationship until something really cool comes along...and being mid cycle probably won't help too much.
