I have nothing against people who use AAS, and I will probably do so soon as well. My argument is not against AAS or the people who use them (no Guilty party is implied) appropriately but rather people who rely on them too early as a way to get big rather than laying a solid foundation through diet, training, and complete dedication to their long term goals.

OK I do see your point...:)

Now now, be nice children. Let's not forget what this boards all about.
Dr.X does make valid points, maybe it's been conveyed in the wrong way but read between the lines. AS is not a short cut to a awesome physique. Hard work is over a period of years.
And if he has beated NPC qualifiers he should know what he's talking about.
But Dr.X, we're here to encourage and learn from. It is up to each individual to make the desicion on what to do with that information once received. And ultimately it is a matter for the person concerned.
Like I say, we're here to learn, share and have a few laughs along the way.

There, I've said my peice. I'm off the train my 15.5" 'guns'.

Again, no disrespect about the height thing (read my post). it all takes hard work no matter what size you are. I think most people knew what I meant when I said it. We don't have to be so sensitive i guess.

Just looking for some damn feedback and look what happens......sheeesh!

What a positive place.

Ok Dr. X I see you are a bit correction very ignorant on this topic. First off you have the notion that people who take steroids are dumb ass guys that are lazy and don't know what they are doing. Stick around for awhile. You'll be very surprised at what you learn and feel very foolish too. A lot of these guys have many years of training and want to take it to the next level. And as for getting off gear and you'll lose the gains...true if you don't know what you're doing but science...yes science has proven that you can keep the gains. Oh and if you want evidence then read as we all do:

http://www.physsportsmed.com/issues/2001/01_01/hartgens.htm

The only thing I don't condon is a new bodybuilder too eager to juice up and hasn't even learned the basics of bodybuilding. These guys usually end up messing up their bodies and get plagued by injuries.

I'm not big on that "great guns" kinda attitude. I think people that ask for feedback lack some type of self esteem. Maybe I might be wrong maybe not. I BB for me and not for the world. I couldn't give a rats ass if someone likes my arms or not...as long as I like my arms!!! Anyway I'll stop wasting space now :doublefi:

Dr.X.

Using AS is by no means an easy way out. Everyone that uses knows that it is hard work and takes MUCH dedication to do it right. Im not flaming or bitching at you, I do see that you make many valid points, but just try and speak your mind in a more considerate way.

Hey Dr.X......I agree with you on the criticism of pics. People should be more honest....if you say it correctly it will be received as constructive criticism. I assume thats why people post pics. Its better that people get good criticism now and make progress.....than get nice comments and be in the same place in 5 years time.

Alright...hear me out but I have to vent about this...I'm not trying to single out anyone but....

What the hell are some of you thinking by using AS? Looking at your pictures and/or training history you need some serious work before you even think about getting on anything. Some of you look smaller than a 12 year old school girl. And what pisses me off is when other people reply and say "you look great", "nice guns", etc. Yea your arms might be big compared to the rest of your body but that's because your chest measures 32". I know that encouragement is important but lets be realistic here. Once these guys get off the shit they're going to go right back to where they were. Ok I'm done.

Drx

I can see that your gonna make lots of friends here.

Keep up the good work!! You'll be popular in no time, maybe even a MOD.

14 posts and look how many friends you already have!

I must agree with most here, your entry is a little too strong...but to each his/her own. Some of your points are well taken but unfortunately conveyed and delivered not in the best of manners. Just my opinion though.
