What supps are you taking right now?

i'll go in on this one.

syntax: Supplement -- Importance(1[low]-10[high]) -- comment

Fish Oil -- 9 -- Essential Fatty Acids are a must on some pretty solid different levels
Vitamin B -- 6 -- Not much gets absorbed via digestion, but does provide energy
Milk Thistle -- 8 -- I wany my liver as good as possible
Calcium and Vit D -- 7 -- Replace the calcium lost during protein digestion aka stronger bones
Multi Vitamin -- 6 -- to get all my vitamins (digestion hinders actual absorbtion of these vits/mins tho)
CEE -- 6 -- a good creatine, noticing strength gains
BCAA's -- 7 -- good for PWO
Waxy Maize -- 7 -- fast digesting carb, good with whey protein for PWO
Big Blast(protein formula from proteinfactory.com) -- 7 -- Good blend of proteins great for PWO
Amplify02 -- 8 -- Great preworkout stimulant, the NO is cool... good pumps and focus
Lipoflame -- 7 -- good cardio enhancer, decent results
5htp-melatonin-valarian root -- 7 -- for a good night sleep
Oxycodone -- 1 -- terrible

How is this working out for ya?

I've read that melatonin supps shouldn't be used long term and could be dangerous. I have to look up the valarian root.

I can always use help in the sleep dept.
 
It's a nice combo. Could you elaborate a little on the 'dangerous' side of melatonin? I'm interested because I've been taking these sleeping caps for more then the reccommened time... and sometimes I feel anxious during the day without them.

Well, I'm no guru but after doing a google search and reading a bit....one of the things that stuck in my head was that you shouldn't use it long term because of possible dangerous sides.

Sounds iffy to me. But I'm sure it would be just as easy to find a site saying it cures cancer too.
 
Sesamin, Multivit/mineral, Vitamin C, Grape Seed Extract, L-Carnitine, Cytolean, Thyrotabs and Chromium. The ones I can remember.

true, I don't take the reccommended serving all the time. Infact I only use Amp maybe 3 times a week tops, so I pop CEE on days I don't take Amp.

Mega Mans - 7 - Good multi-vits...enough said.
Fish oil - 9 - Standard usage in any supps.
Milk thistle - 8 - keep the liver in-tact so it can absorb everything i put in
Mega Gainer (Dymatize) - 8 - low calorie weight gainer, easy on the fat intake, blends well
Super250 (Gapari) - 10 - love this shit, always wakes me up when im sleepy before working out, good muscle pumps
BCAA 5050 (Dymatize) - 8 - tastes like shit...i guess i should be mixing it, instead of straight powder in my mouth
Mono Creatine - 6 - for post workout shakes
L-Glutamine - 6 - right before i go to bed...insure my muscle recovery

Im gonna add in some B.I.G. REM sleep matrix in pretty soon...i hear good stuff about it
 
I take 1 x True Mass (BSN) with 1/2 litre trim milk half hour before my work outs with 6 x Creatine Gells (Pro Flite) and 6 x Mega No2 pills (Pro Flite) with 6 x BCAA'S pills (Dymatize).
After my workout I have 1 cup oats with another 6 BCAA's 2 x Mega No2 and 2 Creatine Caps. please note I train at 5.30am Throughout the day I will have another 2 protien shakes and 3 meals and sometimes consisting of chicken on rice,Tuna and rice, I squeez in a Syntha 6 (BSN) half hour befor bed and sometimes get up at about 3.30am like this mornings starving so I have another syntha 6 and go back to bed.

In terms of rating the supplements Im happy with the results Ive gained over 4 kilos lean mass over a 12 weeks and my body fat % is around 8.6% year round so no compaints.

This is my daily breakdown. I feel all these supplements are the best in their class. Why take anything other than the best?

Carlson's Finest fish oil (lemon) - 15 grams daily

Trueprotein Ion Exchange Whey Isolate - 2 60 gram shakes a day

TP Waxy Maize/TP Instantized BCAA - upon waking and Post workout

GABA 5 grams before bed.

Amp02 10 caps every workout

Lipoflame 2 caps when needed for extra energy

Green tea - 1/2 gallon a day

Primordial Performance CLA EE - 5 grams 2x day

RawMCC Creatine - 5 grams daily
