One of my favorite Christmas gifts was when Stromba made up a gift certificate on the computer for a week vacation to anywhere in the U.S. that I wanted. He had it wrapped up in a shirtbox with travel brochures to all different places in the country. It was special to me because it was just the two of us together for a week. Spending time with him without distractions of business, kids, housework, etc. is what I enjoy most. Plus it was to be a winter vacation...living in FL makes me long for the snowy winters every year and we usually don't get time off together during the season. We wound up at a ski resourt in Canada and it was absolutely beautiful. We went dogsledding (the dogs got into a vicious fight and we were stuck with them fighting, tangled in the trees, blood all over the snow) and snowmobiling (on old logging roads in the mountains...then after a few near misses, the guide told us that if we start to go over the edge of the cliff that we should jump off the snowmobile so we don't kill ourselves! LOL)...something we'll probably never get a chance to do again for quite some time.
