I'd have to say that Queen's remake of We Will Rock You is a lot better than the original by Warrant.

I didn't know warrant originally did that song. Hmmf learn something new everyday.

"Faith" - Limp Bizkit is better than George Michaels version

No fuckin' way. Although I am a fan of LB, I am also a fan of George Michael's music (both with Wham and his solo career). I don't give a fuck if he's gay, I'm listening to his music, not shit about his gay lifestyle and beliefs. LB's Fred Durst doesn't have nearly as good a voice as George Michael's, and the beginning of the LB's remake of the song has Fred Durst screaming at the top of his lungs to the point where I have to ask myself, "Who shot the dog?"

I agree with you!!! LB's version is a sick musical rape of that great GM song. George Michael is one of the best pop singer around as far skills and voice is concerned. I've heard him sing some jazz tunes LIVE and it was awesome.

Also Wham's Make It Big album is one of the best pop albums of all time. It's the greatest British "Motown" album. Written, arranged and produced by the gay himself, Goerge Michael.

The older crowd may have a different opinion about this. But, when Mary J Blige redid "Sweet Thing" I thought it was heaven. I love Mary's voice and am a hater when Ashanti gets the same attention as Mary used to. Ashanti irritates me.

Long live Mary and she did Chaka Khan justice by not ruining her song.

jimi hendrix - all along the watch tower is a brilliant, brilliant song.

sublime - no woman no cry, fuckin brilliant, awesome hip-hop style breakdown in the middle

if you want to hear a band butcher a song, track down earth crisis doing sunshine of your love, or cripple bastards doing we can work it out.

The Eurythmics original version of Sweet Dreams is far better than Manson's. And any remake of a Bob Dylan is fine by me.
