What Remakes Are Better than the Originals?

Oh man I could go on and on with this one.

I'll probably get flamed for this one, but SRV's version of Little Wing is better than Hendrix's. I still love Jimi's version.

Van Halen's versions of You Really Got Me and Pretty Woman (VH's version rocks even though Roth's voice is nothing like Orbison's)

There are tons that I'm forgetting.

The rest of my references are going to be blues covers and most people won't even care:
-Jimi's version of Mannish Boy is better than Muddy Water's.
-Zeppelin's versions of I Can't Quit You Baby and You Shook Me
-Cream's versions of Spoonful and Crossroads
-Derek and the Dominos' version of Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out

I agree with the others:

1)Faith No More's version of "easy" is great, it's the first one I heard. But Lionel Richie is the man, imo.

2)SRV is the best, both Little Wing and Voodoo Chile are fucking sick. I give respect to Jimi, especially as he was one of SRV's most important influences, but I'm still an SRV man.

But the reason I post on this thread:

Manfred Mann and the Earth Band did the well-known remake of "Blinded by the light", and this is an awesome song. The original, by Bruce Springsteen, completely sucks. Really.

cradle of filth's version of "hallowed be thy name" originally by iron maiden
marilyn manson's version of "sweet dreams" originally by annie lennoxs' band (forgot name)
metallica's version of "turn the page" originally by bob segar
