What misconceptions about roids &/or lifting piss you off the most?

1. If I took steroids I would look just like him/you. This coming from the guy who has worked out for the past five years and has changed his physique by maybe 1%. Unless you eat, train and rest properly steroids aren't going to make you jacked.

2. Your penis will shrink from steroids. No it won't, testicles may shrink but with proper PCT will return to normal quickly.

3. I do 45 minutes of cardio five times a week and that's enough training for my legs. I don't want to get bulky, I just want to lose some weight and tone up. The reality of the situation is that weight training combined with proper cardio and diet is the best way to achieve long term body composition changes for most.

4. Squatting will hurt my knees and deadlifting will give me a big waist. Both are excellent mass building exercises and perfectly safe when done properly. I have a 32 inch waist and can still pull over 600 lbs.

But the hair on my head was beautiful and thick, my jaw is anything but square and yes he saw my little bum peaking out from the gown as I had a hard time getting around... and it was anything but ugly.
 
1)if youre built, youre dumb

2)if youre built but attractive, you love yourself

3)if youre built, you *must* be using steroids, even though youre really a twig compared to real steroid users. who are usually the ones accusing you of being on roids, because really, theyre fat.
 
If a thin guy wears a tank top or goes shirtless in public he's just keeping cool. If a built guy does it he's showing off.

lol, true.
also, that women can't spot. or at least, that i can't. i can bench more than the other guys at the gym, but rather than asking the woman standing next to them to spot them, they'll walk to the other side of the gym to ask another guy.
 
My gym doesn't have a free squat rack so I use the smith machine... I would prefer free though.

And I don't like the whole misconception that "steroids are bad" or for lazy people who want to cheat.
