What legal suppliments can I take to increase my running endurance?

I train my ass off, but I want to get any advantage I can. I heard Twinlab's Phos-Fuel and Pyruvate-Fuel are helpful. If so, how much do I take? Do I take it daily? Do I need to load on this stuff, or just take it the day I need it?
Any other suppliments you guys know of that can help me out. I am looking to increase my oxygen carrying capacity and also trying to help buffer lactic acid buildup. I am not sure about trying the illegal stuff yet, I already screwed up my liver once taking way way too much Norandro. Thanks for your help!!

The Pyruvate Fuel and Phos Fuel are useful, but definitely save them for special race days. Don't load the pyruvate fuel use 3 caps of the Twin Labs stuff before a big race, but test it in training first. Not sure on the Phos Fuel-I'll research.

The Endurox R4 is a good recovery drink, but the Endurox tablets aren't anything special-basically Siberian Ginseng.

You might look into B12 injections and iron supplements. These two items combined have helped me out quite a bit. I had been feeling lethargic on my rides and post-ride, but these two combined seemed to raise my energy levels. I was thinking maybe my red blood cell levels were low from stress and lack of iron (I eat well but don't have much red meat or veggies). By taking in the iron and B12 w/a little more rest I feel way better. Twice a week I inj 2cc B12 and take a good iron supp (twice the daily amount) with it.

Careful w/Norandro it can return a positive test result for nandrolone if you ever get tested. Some of the prohormones work really well but their sides are definitely unwanted for endurance athletes.

FHG

potassium citrate, potassium citrate, potassium citrate. About 1.5 g's 2-3 hours before your event. I used before every rugby match and it works wonders. It's a lactic acid buffer, like 100 x's better then baking soda. You should also try drinking a heavy carb drink 2-3 hours before your event to.

cheers

maltodexdrin 1.5-2 hours before race.
Potassium Cirtate powder 2-3 table spoons 2 hours before race. Try in training first to see how the body tolerates it.
Take a good multi-vitamin-mineral tab.
1.5 to 3 grams of vitamin c daily.
Zinc-Magnessium-calcium TAb.
Injectable B12 3000mcg weekly in 2 to 3 devided dosages.
Creatine 10-20 grams daily.
A good Whey protein supplement for recuperation. Whey has been showan to increase endurance and recovery at dramatic rates. Try adding whey protein to crystal lite. Helps to eliminate the bloat.

These are all natural and will pass any drug screen.

If the event is not tested ephedrine+caffine would help.

Follow the above and you will look forward to devouring those long hill rides.
