What is the science behind not keeping gains on a dbol only cycle?

IMO I saw too many dudes lately that have a very strange approach to cycles. Only on cycles they eat a lot, workout and rest like mad. As soon as they get off their cycles, they quit eating, don't do any post-cycle therapy, simply crash...
I don't know if what I said makes sense or not, but that's where I'm at in my opinion.
And unfortunately too many sad stories are not told because those "cycles" are mostly done by first-timers that don't do any research and want a "quick fix" to their problems...

So, I'm in the same boat as most of us here with Ironmaster, who said that it is in fact a lifestyle... If you live it right, there are no "crashes" or any other BS...

What the F%^K does that mean, not normal muscle?

Yeah I've read that study before. It really doesn't give a definitive answer. It says the weight gain was not just water, but then it says it wasn't lean muscle mass either. The study mentions nothing about fat gain either, so you can't jump to conclusions with that.

I interpret it as saying that the new muscle formed is not the same as muscle gained naturally, but the nitrogen-rich, phosphate-poor muscle can be maintained afterwards as lean muscle. Think about it, you have to work just as hard after the cycle is over to maintain that muscle and most people experience no gains for a while after cycles. Maybe this time is a maturation period for that new-found muscle. This could also be the reason behind just running d-bol for the first few weeks alongside another AAS, as that muscle can be solidified throughout the remainder of the cycle. I'm not a doctor or scientist or anything so I could be way off base.

I definitely think you can keep gains on a d-bol only cycle if you have proper diet and training habits. D-bol works through the AR and other non-AR mediated effects, such as increased nitrogen retention. It's a powerful drug, and I know plenty of people who have kept gains from d-bol only.

Ya know its funny here on the boards you have guys taking 50 mgs a day of Dbol but back in the days of Arnold and Lou ...there was a debate over whether 5mgs a day was too much.

If you think Arnold never went over 5 freaking mg's of dbol, then I want whatever you're smoking.

LOL

Yea right LMAO :lmao:

i think the whole dbol only cycle sux thing is way over rated.. think about the people who do dbol only cycles for the most part.. either first time roid users or even worse people who were not gaining naturally and then turn to roids for gains.. so they gain on dbol but then when they go back to "natural" training they loose it all..

i would love to see what would happen if 10 real vets from this board tried a dbol only cycle for 4 weeks and then did proper post cycle treatment..

Glad you posted this. I always thought it was strange how people would say you lose your muscle off a dbol only cycle. Muscle is muscle after all although I do think that the faster you gain the harder it is to keep as the body cant adapt that quick.
