Ever seen a HBO movie about Jay Leno/David Letterman battle? Trent Williams portayed Michael Eisner as a shrewd and cunning businessman. I'm sure that's how he makes money. If you want to stay at the top, you have to play the game.

60k starting? that doesn't seem right... I was thinking a little higher like 80-100k starting.

Ummmm....I think $60K is about right. I was at a lecture with one of the astronauts and someone asked how much they made....I think she said around $60K during training and then $100K if they got picked to fly.

What really surprised me was learing that thier life insurance costs five million dollers a DAY while they're in space. Of course, the government picks up the tab.

I have a few friends that are investment bankers. they aren't even at partner and they make buttfuckloads of money.

first few years you just don't sleep, then it gets easier, and more $$ after that.

I envy the money, but I don't envy the hours or the lifestyle that they have to keep - hard to get to the gym if you work that much.
