What Exercises Should I Now Avoid??

If you guys remember I fucked up my shoulder arm wrestling somebody about two weeks ago. I took a solid week off from the gym :bawling: and then tryed to go back last week. Chest day went pretty good with no real discomfort, but the next day was back day and it sucked. I first tryed to do widegrip pullups which immediatly killed my shoulder, I think restraining it. I waited then did deads and bent over rows with no real problem. I know I shouldn't have, but I then tryed to do some widegrip pulldowns, which just like the pullups aggravated it big time. I guess what I'm asking here is what exercises should I avoid for the next couple weeks to help my rotator cuff rest. Also, for those of you that have strained your rotator cuffs, does your bicep feel like it's fucked up to???

I'd say avoid any and all shoulder and chest work for at least two weeks. Have you seen a doc about it?

Yea, I went to an orthopedic surgeon that pulled and twisted it everywhere, but it really didn't hurt. It is also my both my biceps a little. It only really hurts when I'm trying to lift something in a ceratin position with it. When I do chest presses it really doesn't hurt at all. I deffiantly haven't tryed any shoulder or bicep exercises yet. I think next week I'm going to go back and get some X-rays and all that other fun shit to find out exactly wtf is going on.

get art therapy

I would go and get active release done on your shoulder.
if you go to activerelease.com they have a therapist finder.. I promise after like two visits youl be back to normal. A friend of mine was saved from surgery by active release.. It works man

Consider www.elitefts.com they sell massage and self therapy stuff and they have ost of their stuff for under $50 stuff that can help with minor injuries.

Last year I fucked up one of my friends shoulders arm wrestling and it took him a few weeks and no treatment to get better.

I have heard of ART as well but I think that might be for serious injuries.

Your injury might not be serious at all.

You might want to give them a call and discuss it and see if you can heal up, they are the best and are very honest and helpful to lifters.
