okay i got 75 bucks in my pocket and trying to go to this supplement store to buy some protein powder and something good for muscle recovery.. which I heard glutamine does a good job.

anyone know I could get for that price.. im tryin to buy as much protein powder as I can and I dont really care about the taste that much...

I would try to buy that gplenish from af store but they are out again or something so I need this asap cause im playing basketball right now and I wanna do lots of things and dont have time to wait.

Alright-- 75 bucks?

Optimum Nutrition's 100% whey-- 80 servings for aroud 30 dollars. It comes complete with adequate whey, some glutamine, and enzyme blend for digestion. It is the best I have seen money-wise. Muscle recovery? I'd say some creatine-- just buy it pure and mix it in with the protein. Those fruit "delivery systems" can get pricey, and I am sure gatorade could do a similar job. I go to the Vitamin Shoppe-- GNC might be pricey unless they are changing stock or trying to get rid of something (which is why I visit them on occasion). Use the remaining money to buy bananas to mix in with the protein and creatine (carb source/potassium). This is my cheapest way!

Glutamine is worthless
don't waste your money on that supp

You'd rather buy

1] protein powder
2] EFAs
3] real food

I recommend you buy some WHey (Optimum is cheap) and spend the rest on solid food...Kippered snacks and Sardines in olive oil - my fridge is packed with those...89cents per can, i bought a couple of boxes and people were giving me weird looks in the store. But these are awesome...fish fat+olive oil+fish protein....all you need for a meal coming out of one (or two) cans.

dont most protein shakes have tons of bcaas in them?? i can see bcaa being effective supplementation b4 a workout but i think that u get enough bcaas in your post workout protein shake

Sure, if you already take a good quality protein shake, you don't need extra BCAAs
