What countries allow OTC purchases?

I've always gotten my gear in Tijuana, but having read articles about the TJ police shaking down tourists after stepping out of farmacias and then extorting money in order to look the other way for the tourists possessing drugs without a Mexican doctors' prescription, I'm sort of antsy. I know there are some countries where no prescription is needed - anyone know of a place to look for that online? I figure I can go on vacation, do a serious cycle, and break no laws. Help? Otherwise, does anyone have experience with getting a Mexican doctor to prescribe? Is that difficult?

I cannot give you an exhaustive list like some people here, but I do know from experience that Egypt and Tunisia are two countries (or at least were in 2003). I'm not sure about Greece, you hear conflicting reports. You might also want to check into Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries.

no, prescription is just a formality down there. I have purchased several prescriptions in various parts of mexico ranging from the southern Yucatan to Matamoros. Paying the tad extra for a scrip is a MUCH better investment than dealing with the horrilby crooked police. I have been outright robbed on more than one place by those filthy cocks.

Egypt is very good, but many places have limited supplies, so you'll need to visit several pharmacies to stock up. I thought I was in heaven out there last year getting Test E for 30 cents an amp! Thailand very good, most Middle East countries (but not Israel), Turkey excellent, Greece is hit and miss. Some will refuse, some will say okay, Brazil has tightened up, but most other Latin countries will see you right.
