Okay, I'm a little knew and had a dilemma thats been needing a quick fix. I'm having one hell of a fight with my sex drive enough to where it's to the point of causing serious problems in my relationship, i need to know some facts. What can i take to bump it up a few notches? What solutions can i use in the mean time so my sex life doesnt become non existing along with my relationship. I'm in utter desperation here girls let me know what you know

You have 2 different posts that are pointing towards the same issue - I don't want to let them go off in 2 different directions like they are unconnected.

So the primary problem is low sex drive? I don't think you want to "be like a guy" tho --- there's lots more going on thann just a small boost of testosterone to take on the whole "way a guy is". That's behavior + some hardwiring. If you don't like how you "are" you can work on the behavior. But if your issue is low sex drive, let's take a really good look at that because you are talking about self-medication w/ stuff I'm not sure you even know what it is.

First - you said you took a shot of test --- did you do that on your own? Was it doctor prescribed or you are just self-medicating? Have you talked to your ob/gyn about this?

Lots of guys post up about giving their wife or g/f something for low sex drive. Topical testosterone - e.g. Androgel is a common treatment for that. I'm also gonna hit up nsashbl01 to post on this as well with some ideas.

Please do not look to self-medicating w/ steroids for what you are trying to achieve. None of that stuff is intended for long-term use for sex drive medication.

There are loads of things that could cause a loss of sex drive, both physical (ie. some illnesses, medication you're taking, drugs / alcohol etc) and psychological. Go see your doctor to try and eliminate some causes before self-medicating.

Are you stressed? How is your diet? Do you excercise?

I found that what I mentioned above as well as my confidence affects my sex drive. I agree with Cezza, look at your lifestyle and see what you can do without taking a steroid or drug.

On a side note, when my drive was low, I did take L-Arginine. It was great for me.

So, reading the two threads together, you have low sex drive and non-stop PMS, correct? If that is indeed the case, go to a doctor. You are dealing with more than should be 'self-diagnosed' or 'self-medicated'.

YES! Hormones are a very fundamental component of "how" your life is. Please don't start running steroid cycles because someone told you "I know someone who takes *whatever steroid* for sex drive & she is amazng in bed now". Please check w/ your doctor & be very adamant about what your situation is - don't let the doc poo-pooh what you are experiencing. If you don't get some things to explore, then ask if this person can recommend a specialist or get a 2nd opinion from a more useful doctor.

I just made a similar post about my own experience with no sex drive and I am only 21! Anyway check it out please and let me know anything you can think of I can do! Thanks ladies.

Geez, don't just take test! That could really mess you up! Please talk to your doctor. Then you won't have to keep experimenting and guessing, and it shows your partner that you take the issue seriously.

While you figure out the mystery of the reason behind this, try to continue with your romantic life. It may sound crazy, but try watching some adult entertainment with your sweetie. It works
