muskate High End Bro Platinum Apr 19, 2018 #4 I personally use a weight belt for weighted pull ups/dips but a weight vest is the same idea. I think they're great. Weighted bodyweight movements will build much more functional strength then machine movements doing the same movement pattern. A weighted pull up is WAY harder then a lat pull down
