To wear or not wear shoes in the house.

What do you do? Why?

we dont wear shoes or allow shoes to be worn in the house
not because we're neat freaks either
1. lumberg lived his first 5 yrs in Japan
2. we dont want all the yuck and muck from the streets all over our carpets where we often will sit or lay down.
