Yea but if I invested only $20.000 and got the 5.0 cammer engine from ford racing which would put it at 500hp and a supercharger, you're talking close to 600hp+.

$40,000 is a lot to put in an engine. What have you done so far? What kind of times have you run in the 1/4 mile?

I'm guessing you hate Harleys too, right?, because there are a myriad of foriegn bikes that can out corner and outperform them? People who buy Mustangs don't care that a Acura NSX or Toyota Supra is the better sports car, they an want American muscle car. So the fact that they are "still" Fords and Chevys is a good thing IMHO.

I'll own one in a few years, have to do some things to the house first. That will give them time to work out the bugs anyway.

I could go with a GMC truck
I like this mustang,but my experience with american cars is they don't hold up as well over 5 years,and thier resale value reflects this

Sorry dude. That won't happen. The retro styling on these cars has got them so hot, that dealerships will be trying to sell them for more than sticker price. That should help to weed some of the punks out.

The new Mustang is being built in a Mazda factory. That should help with some of their inherent reliability issues.
