Vegitarian Weightlifting Food(I Need Help)

Recently I've decided to become a Vegitarian-no meat. I still plan on eating fish(esp. tuna-my fav. and great source of protein) What are good foods to eat to matain a 3.500 cal. diet. I really need help and appreciate the input.

Good choice! I am assuming since you eat fish that you still will eat dairy and eggs. Here are some options

Tofu
Soy burgers
Veggie Burgers
Soy crumbles
cottage cheese
egg whites
eggs
egg sub's
yogurt
most every fish
protein powders
nuts
seeds
tempeh
milk
soy milk
soy cheese
cheese

Hope that helps!

Fish is still a meat bro so you will not be a vegetarian but it's all good. I would base your diet on fish and eggs and if you eat fish chicken is good. but if you wish not to eat animals that dwell on land there are many different types of fish that have many different flavors and textures good luck. Any book store will have great veggie cook books. There are also lots of meat substitutes like morningstar farms they make everything from meatless bacon to burgers and fake chicken nuggets that are really good . And it is quite edible not like the old veggie stuff that tasted like a homless mans shoe made out of soy only. good luck from an ex-vegetarian.

I have been a vegetarian for 7 years. I eat alot of navy beans and lentils for my protein..also I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables..I also eat alot of brown rice..trying to get off of dairy, for my own reasons, but eggs, milk and cheese would be ok. I tend to stay far away from tofu and anything made from soy..too much controversy over GMO's(geneticaly modified food)
