no, i take klonapin right now and always have while ON as well...my docs getting me to lower dose b/c he doesn't want me to be dependent on it 4 ever tho

valium is a bit more addictive than other benzo's such as klonopin, i would reccomend switching to klon's they stay in your blood longer and don't have the withdrawals that valium does, even xanax is better though klonopin is the best. my dog dbbt and i are in the same boat, my doc wants me to start tapering off too. anger is an addiction imo, and if you truly need something to help contain that so you can live happily as i did, the pills are not an addiction unless you are not even attempting to get by without them. good luck bro, and to answer your question it makes no difference with your gear, my doctor knows everything i do and its all good. i take part of my dose in the mornings and workout before the rest, and i have no problems in the gym nor has it effected my blood work after cycles.

They're all pretty equally addicting. A benzo is a benzo anyway you cut it. Klonopin just releases itself long. Like a steroid with a long ester.

Doesn't sound like you're "physically" addicted to it if you take it 4 times a week. What kind of dosages are you taking? I used Klonopin for my social anxiety for about 4 years. It defenitely helps. You have to watch it though. Because they can get pretty addicting. You shouldn't take it to help you sleep because this could easily lead to an addiction.

being on anything for 2 years straight is abuse, not use. sounds like u convinced yourself u cannot live or sleep without them. try to ease off at least for a short period oif time and see how u feel. u may really need them though. only u really know. 2 years ago i became addicted to xanax while on first cycle of tren. like u i started it to keep me mellow since the tren had me alittle crazy. then i got used to them and it became part of my everday life. i'm glad i kicked that shit.

I use valium right before my workouts.
It kind of keeps me in the mood to continue working out for long amounts of time.
I usually pop 2-3 tabs just before i work out.
At my gym this is quite common.
I once read Lee Lambrada (sp?) used to inject 10-20mg before his workouts.

sorry bro i disagree. if a doctor thinks it best for a patient to remain on a med its not addiction. healthy sleep is very important if he can't sleep without it or function properly he needs to continue it. 4 times a week means he is taking it when he has to. ive taken all the pills you can name, none of them are tough to ween off of. painkillers are an addiction, try coming off those its the worst thing i ever went through in my life.

ill get off them as soon as i need to, but for now there not going anywhere. especially with my cycle coming up i want it to go as smooth as possible.

I've been on doctor-prrescribed klonopin for insomnia/anxiety for the past 5 years. This drug has been a godsend for me. I would like to wean off of it someday, but if my life starts falling apart due to lack of sleep, I'm not gonna be stupid about resisting taking it. I don't think anyone wants to be addicted to this type of medication, but lack of sleep can F your life up in so many other ways that sometimes it's the choice between the lesser of 2 evils.

DBBT: How much klonopin are you taking? I've been at .75mg for about 2 years and was at 1mg for the previous 3.

what you're saying is you're using valium as a rec drug, right? loosen up/social occasions etc...

i use it to be more personable, rec? maybe....ive done things amd met some people these 2 years that i know i would of NEVER if it wasnt for valium. it basicly gave me a life. will i move on to harder shit? NO..i cant even commit to taking V everyday so in a way thats good.

if it gives you "life" you some some MAJOR psychological issues you need to look into (no pun intended)...you really need to take a step back and look at your situation of abusing pain killers and see where you want to go with your life. Yes, using pain killers (drugs) to fix social problems and get "loose" is no different then using E.

Does it help u sleep?

I'm Taking them also, due to not being able to sleep,From what i read on the packet info Valium causes the body to convert most of it to GABA during sleep.

RADAR

I've known people that have gotten some horrible Valium addictions, but to each his own .

Wow. I remember getting a valium before my eye surgery...I was flying for about an hour then went home and slept for 15 hours.

Taking that every day would be hard to do.

valium has actually been shown to be anti-catabolic by supressing cortisol levels.

Years ago I was on xanax for about 3 years until my doc wouldn't write anymore scrips. Now I can easily find them on the internet and I keep a supply on hand for emergencies. 30 pills last me 6 months now. I still take sleeping pills (seroquin 50mg) and can totally relate to sleepless nights--SUCKS!! I tried every slepping pill out there and the seroquin i'm on now is usually used to treat schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. It also helps with my depression issues.

dm

p.s. I don't think taking valium regularly is any worse than doing aas year after year!

took seroquel for a little bit. it helped at first but then wore off quick, as with all sleep meds. the lunesta works a little bit but i have to take it with some simply sleeps to actually stay asleep all night

How do you guys get your doc do just prescribe you these things? I could use something to help keep me more mellow and less anxious alll the time. I may go to my doc and see what he says. I definately need something.

remeron for sleeping is a godsend for me, its not a sleeping pill but u take it at night because a side effect is you pass out from it, i sleep so well no groginess, i think its bullshit for anyone to judge unless they have gone 3 weeks with no sleep

benzos are horrible to try to get off of. i was doin xanax for a few months straight every nite to sleep and when i went to come off cold turkey i thought i was going to have a seizure and thought i was really going to die. it was the worst feeling ive ever had. ive been on ambien for a while too but getting off that is easy just a few sleepless nights and its out of you, same with lunesta, but benzos can kill you, take my word.

when i first started benzos (xanax) it was great, i was sleeping good and had no inhibitions. i was meeting girls left and right and hooked up with a bunch because i didnt care. i was even the top sales person in my entire company because i felt friendly and calm all the time. eventually it fucked me over in the end and shit wasnt as pretty as it was at first.

valium and xanex are very addictive.simular to g, my doc. put me on klon. to ease the withdraws. I was on all because of the stress I was under at the time. I grew larger in the gym with less stress and more sleep !

this is the same as me, xanax gives withdrawal cause it leaves the system fast and valium. you feel great for a few hours but you come down, also you tend to feel withdrawals after a lot of use. klons stay in the blood longer, i told my doc i was getting withdrawals and he switched me.

absolutely,
anyone taking any drug period long term un-advised by a medical professional is asking for probs. Now, I got probs so I go to the doc and he takes care of me :p I tell the doc how i'm feelin' and we mess around with the dosage to see how i react to it. This is something that I NEED right now. Maybe you do to, I don't know. Sleep and just a relaxed state is so important and hard for many to achieve on their own. Not something to be taken lightly or try doing on your own. Props to my docs. exactly, it is important to have a doc you trust is looking out for your long term well being, my doc is constantly telling me that klons can be come addictive and we should watch my dose or ween off. thus i know that he is not just giving scripts to keep me happy. DBBT hows that test feeling nucc

Valium is not a painkiller it's a benzo. benzos are harder to get addicted to, but once you become dependent they are harder to get off then opiates (pain killers). You can actually die from benzo withdraw, if you’re bad enough and stop cold turkey. That’s something you don't want to mess around with.
