Here’s a little background, I did not use aas until age 26, I started lifting at age 19 got serious about weightlifting and proper diet around age 23 as a personal trainer. This helped me obtain a proper base which with to work with upon turning to anabolics. Almost like a canvas I had sculpted my body from 130 pound weakling too a natural 188 pound man. I only turned to ass because my natural test levels were dropping and I felt that I had hit the wall as far as natural hardness vs. weight gain. Meaning it was hard for me to naturally put on more quality size without getting softer.

I have coached many people on the proper use of anabolics, and some have used aas to begin their bodybuilding lifestyle. The problem is without a proper base these indivuals who do put on size, lack the hardness, maturity and definition of a more seasoned athlete.

I agree. I am always asked by friends how they can "get big" I laugh because when I start talking to them about diet and supplementation they complain about not having the time or money to eat right and train properly but they still want to try AAS! It used to piss me off at first that they didn't understand the sacrifice it takes to become a seasoned athlete. Then I realised that most people are just plain lazy!

Yep, everyone wants to pick up some magic beans on the way to the gym. They think after a week they'll wake up massive.

personally i don't think using aas will give you a bad base... look at people who have used aas after 3-4 years of training compared to someone who has been training for 6 months then uses drugs. the person who waiting to use aas will have more density because of the years of training not because they didn't use drugs.

anyone who touchs aas after they have been working out for a couple months shouldn't be using the shit.... the only people that should use it are the die hards.... day in day out at the gym.... day in day out eating a propper diet

just my 2 cents

To summarize the original post and the correct info.....

It's IDEAL to work out natural until you reach your plateau/genetic peak--then turn to AAS......

simple as that bro----if you keep making solid gains natural for 5 consecutive years----keep at it-----when you cant get anywhere else even after switching up diet/training regimens.....then GO TO AAS....
