I'm currently (well, mostly) low-carbing 30-40 grams per day.
I'm NOT a lifter, but workout 5 out of 7 evenings (some muscle work, some cardio).
I'd like to use ALA, but am not sure when to use it. I've started popping 200 mgs (the dosage I have) with aminos about 1/2 hour before working out on an empty stomach (last "snack" at 2 PM - workout at 6 PM). Seems to increase my endurance a LOT.
I eat lightly through the day (hi protein) and then about an hour after working out eat a full meal (relatively low carb).
When is the best time to use ALA? I want to get my money's worth.
I can't change my workout time. I can only work my supplements and meals around then.
