Unleashed vs Post-Cycle

Juice Authority said:
Ok, here's the pic. I didn't say it was garbage. I have used Post Cycle, Unleashed and ZIP! and wasn't very impressed at all. I said I didn't respond to it and that I've always thought that it was wrong to push these supps to be used as a replacement to other proven PCT methods.

LOL!

The supps would be great to use IN CONJUNCTION with other pct remedies.

I tend to agree with this. See I used them on a stand alone basis post cycle which proved to be a big mistake. I think if one were to use them they should use them in conjunction with other proven ancillary meds but then again that would greatly increase the cost basis of your PCT therapy. Is it worth it? I don't know. No one can really gauge it's effectiveness for hpta recovery when taken with other PCT meds. It's virtually useless by itself though.

Hey Bro, it was all meant in good clean fun. :)

I plan on using Nolva also...and remember, I'm only doing 30mg var daily for 6 weeks. This isn't some monster cycle so I was thinking just nolva and some herbals would be sufficient. I have ZHCG but would rather hold it for the winter...and my understanding is that HCG is better used during a cycle to keep things in check rathe then aftr the cycle is over.

The more and more research I do on HCG (you should read some of Swale's posts over at Steroid-ology) the more I believe in using it in every cycle. HCG is extremely important to incorporate into your post cycle regimen. When you use AAS, even something relatively minor like Var, your hpta is still partially suppressed. Not only are natural T-levels suppressed but sperm production and count is also suppressed. Testosterone and semen are both produced in the testis. HCG gives the body a nice spike in T-levels after injected and prepares the balls for hpta therapy. Bigger balls = faster recovery. Plus, HCG increases sperm count and mobility and is even used as the number 1 fertility drug in males.

lol .. nice one JA.

I havent read swales methods, but dosent he advocate HCG use during the complete cycle period, and not as a PCT protocol?

I am more in favour of the thinking of Drjmw, using it Postcycle only. Using it for too long, or at too high a dosage, you run the risk of the LH receptor becoming desensitised, which can further fuck-up your post-cycle problem instead of helping it. I guess the difference between the two is that using it post-cycle allows you to be surpressed during your cycle, and rectifies it during PCT, where running it through your cycle tries to combat surpression in an attempt to make recovery easier. Basically, my thinking is ... let the natural suppresion occur while cycling. You are taking in extra steroid into your body, when there is to much, your natural furnace "hpta", is going to turn off the heat. When you stop taking it, then work with it to fire it back up (PCT). During cycle is the time to combat other sides like prolactin or estrogen, not try to prevent HPTA supression.

Swale advocates using HCG during and post cycle. The reason I like taking it during the cycle is cause 1) It causes a spike in T-levels, 2) it prevents atrophy, 3) it keeps my sex drive strong and 4) it gets me more in touch with my feminine side while on a cycle :bigkiss:

I agree with your other points. Using HCG to combat suppression is useless.

Well I only have 3 weeks left before PCT. I have 15000iu HCG. I will be doing 60mg nolva/day for 4-6 weeks plus Post-Cycle and unleashed. How would you all suggest I use the HCG?
