Ultimate Goals

Blood&Iron

New member
Just out of curiosity I'd be interested to know board members' ultimate physique aspirations. I don't mean something unachievable but what are people shooting for in the long run, and how far are you from achieving your goals? Do you want an aesthetic physique or will you never be big enough? Also how do you plan to get there? Naturally. Anabolics. What sort of time frame? Etc, etc, etc.

Okay, right now I'm about 215 probably about 15%bf(I know I'm porky dammit--though I can see my abs.) Ultimately I'd like to hit 235 at 7-8%bf. Given my previous rate of progress I think I can hit that goal in 2 years. I'd like a physique something along the lines of Arnold--obviously it ain't gonna be as pretty as I'm fairly average genetically speaking. I plan to get there "naturally", but of course I do use supplements. I'll reassess my goals once I hit the 235 mark, but I'm not a fan of the "freaky" look--at least not for myself. Once I've reached what I consider an "ideal" physique my quest for size will end.

It’s tough to say what my ultimate goal is, I think I’d like to try a little bit of everything. Since I’m still young I’m currently going for the freaky big look. Then maybe I’ll slim down for a couple of years. I don’t really know, I just like tinkering with my body I guess. Hell, maybe I’ll try the Fatass look for a bit. :D

I'm going for the lean and toned look....not too big or freaky (although I have nothing against that look!)...

...my current obsession is trying to determine precisely how much cardio will suit this need... to the extent that I shed some bodyfat - without sacrificing too much of that hard-earned muscle mass...ahh the HOLY GRAIL of bodybuilding!!

I'm staying natural - and being realistic in light of this...watching the diet, etc., - and I don't want to fall into the trap of overtraining because I tend to go way overboard!! Ultimately it hurts me more than it helps me....but I just can't BACK-OFF dammit!!

Currently 5'10" about 170 lbs and 12% BF. I am pretty much going for the Men's Health cover model look. Need to pack on some more muscle first so currently I am trying to bulk.

If I can tie up my own shoes then I aint big enough....

Right now, I'm '5'8, 183, 9% bf. Hopefully in the next two years I can get to around 220 wihile keeping the same amount of fat. As long as I keep goin up, I'm gonna stay natural, but when I start to plataue a bit I'll start looking at my other options i.e. juice.

My goals are to get as big as possible at any cost. I plan on competing in a couple NPC events in 2002 and my goals for that are to compete and win overall teens and novice classes. Right now I'm about 220 at about 9% body fat and I would like to compete in my first competition next year (the Lone Star Classic) weighing in around 200lbs.

My goals are as follow: I am 5'5 and have a small body frame
I have been lifting for 3 years and i weight 145lbs @ 5% bf
I hope to one day reach 160 @ 5% bf
This is very realistic and i think any more would be too much more my skelatal structure
