I am kinda upset with Vitor, he was my fav fighter but he has been losing lately. He lost to Chuck Lidell- DAMN!!!!! I am still waiting for the Tito Vs. Vitor fight that never happened.

Sakaraba is my fav right now- total sportman. Rickson is a bad ass- check out his movie "Choke". It is cool-shows him training and whatnot. You should look into getting the Pride DVD's- allot better than UFC. I disagree about the rules- while I prefer the Pride rules to UFC you have to have rules-it is a sport and otherwise it is a street brawl. They finally made it illegal to kick a guy in the head when he is on all fours which I think is fair and sportsmanlike. You can kick him if he has one hand on the ground but not both. Look when Silva fought Sak- Sak wasn't ready for Silva's brand of brutality.

Why would you want more rules??? thats crazy man. No headbutting... no kicking when the guys down.... thats not "no holds barred fighting".

I havnt watched a UFC since UFC 18 because it became incredably boring shit. The 2 biggest mistakes they made were getting rid of the tournament format in favour of bouts and putting in weight classes. Along with the new rules, its not even worth my time. To bad they had to mess with success

To have a sport you need rules. You cant have a bunch of guys beating the snot out of each other because sooner or later someone will die and then there is no way any company will sponser the fights. That is what it is all about my friend-money. They made it the way it is currently because they need to promote it and make it more popular and with that comes restrictions. I think it is good for the sport to have a more sportsman like contest. It teaches dumb ass people that it is an art and not just a brawl. Talk to some of the fighters and you'll find they feel the same. I dont particularly agree with all the new UFC rules but I see why they did it. Like I said, I prefer Pride. The Jap fans are more educated and respect the grappling more than the US fans. US fans just want blood.
