The south american dude who embarrassed Tank Abbott was Vitor Belfort,

O.k., that's the 2nd time I read that on this board. Unless there was another UFC that Tank got KOed by Vitor Belfort, the one I watched where he went down was NOT by Vitor. It was some other dude... 100%... he kept kicking Tank behind his knee and Tank's fat leg was starting to quiver.

So are you saying that there was another time he got knocked out by Vitor Belfort? Which UFC was that? b/c if there's another time he got KOed I gotta see it

Incidentally, Vitor Belfort had a badass physique. Him, Ken Shamrock, and Frank Shamrock had the 3 best physiques in the Octagon IMO.

the fight your thinking about was the Marco Ruas vs Pual Varlens (6'8). Ruas chopped him down with kicks to knee till Varlens couldn't stand anymore.

I have the Tank vs Belfort fight on tape. Vitor shot in with a double leg takedown, Tank ended up on his hands and knees and Vitor just crouched over him and landed like 30 hard punches to the head before the ref stopped it. Tank was just covering up and getting the snot beat out of him. He wasn't KOed by any means, but if they let the fight continue much longer he would've been a bloody sponge.

Tank's a legend... he proved a huge man can be lightning fast. I think that once pankration rules take over you will see him at the top of the game again.

Tank is a tough guy, but put him up against a 200+ lb guy who can box and it's all over. Put him up against any decent grappler and it's all over. But when he fights undisciplined brawlers, he majorly kicks ass.

Tank was the most famous UFC fighter that never won a title. i think.
