Trouble Sleeping

Lately i've been having trouble getting to sleep. For a few nights when my friend was over i didnt get to sleep until like 3 or 4 every night, and was wakin up at 2. I than started going to sleep at like 12 or 1 and that went good for about 2 nights, and now i havent been able to get to sleep easily.. If i am lucky, i'll lie in bed for an hour and than fall asleep.

I dunno if its cause of those nights i was up so late, but it sucks. Im wasting half my day sleeping (im wakin up past noon).

Any ideas on how i could get to sleep easier....right now its 3:30 lol...im like nocturnal

Sounds like you got your bodyclock out of sync.....this isn't unusual if you start staying up late because your body will still want to get enough rest. You just need to reset it.

When this happens to me, I go to bed at the normal time (3 or 4am for you) and then make myself get out of bed earlier (at a time that I need in order to have a 'normal' life) even though I am tired. The following night, go to bed earlier because you'll be very tired, and get out of bed at the time you think is right for you. It takes a couple of days to sort this out, but it works.

yeah, take melatonin 20 minutes before u want to goto sleep, and if everythign else is normal, you should doze off, i take 3mg.
