If they want to get a source they are going to get him wether he posts openly or not... to think they (feds) can't find a source just by being a vet and emailing a mod for a source and getting to know someone then that is foolish! There are to many people that throw there sources name around and want to tell everyone when they get a good source!

Also who is to say that a fed isn't a mod on one of these boards it isn't to hard to become a vet/mod!

I believe it takes a certain dedication, a great deal of knowledge, and alot of trust to become a mod....but then agian I also believe money talks...anybody can be paid to enough to do something and anybody will come up over on somebody to get out of jail time, moral of the story, trust is like asswholes, be careful where you put yours or you might just get FUCKd

He will sing like a bird, there will be a march on Washington "moms against gear" or something like that and them were all going down. ....I..can't take this shit anymore! Sure, the feds might have bigger fish to fry with terrorist and shit, but damn, a few years from now they might round up the whole lot of us just because someone thought our day should come. Personally, I would get out of the gear picture soon as possible.

Thats what sucks about this whole thing, here is a bunch pf people, one of the tightest communities around if ya think about, who come together and share knowledge and make friends all for the love of the sport. Yet, uncle sam condemns us and the media has the shit blown so out of proportion that we are simply criminals in everyones eyes. Blah we all know the run down on how many people die each year to smoking, drinking and narcotics etc.

Thats not to say I dont think there should be some sort of regulation on AAS cause I think there should be or it would be abused much more than it is, however the stringent controls and penalties we have now are simply assanine.

I'm a mod at Triedia and before accepting the position, I gave a lot of thought to the potential for criminal or civil liability that might result from being associated with a board that advocates steroid use.

All the mods at Triedia are aware of these risks, and decided that it was more important to help out newbies who might otherwise screw themselvews up, than hide in fear from "the man".

Notice I said "board that advocates steroid use". In this regard Triedia is no different from Elite or any other anabolic forum.

Many of you are probably aware of the civil wrongful death suit against NAMBLA that is pending. The parents of a kid who was killed by a pedophile are suing members of NAMBLA and its internet provider because, in the words of the complaint " The plaintiffs claim that the group's publications and the information provided on its internet site caused a third party to torture, murder, and mutilate their son"

So just simply advocating steroid use could conceivably land somebody in a lawsuit, open source posting or not. Imagine a scenario where some kid goes on a shooting rampage and claims it was caused by "roid rage". The relatives of the victims find out he learned all about steroids at Elite, or Triedia, or wherever, and all the mods and the owner end up with at a minimum hefty legal bills.

The ACLU is defending NAMBLA charging that the group was simply exercising its first amendment rights. As reprehensible as NAMBLA and its philosophy are to me personally, I hope they win this one. If not it could set a precedent where members of anabolic forms could end up being sued or worse just for discussing steroid use in any sort of positive light.
