My knees are shot, so I run on my treadmill at home. Is this just as beneficial as running outside? Are there any things that aren't good about treadmills? Thanks.
A treadmill at 1-2% grade is equivalent to running outside cardio wise and distance wise, but I would agree on the Eliptical machine... my favorite are the Eliptical Cross Trainers, which have the moving arms as well for a good cardio workout. I can burn like 750 calories in around 40 minutes on it
