What are your stats in the avatar pic?
5'6" about 172lbs. Arms are about 16.5", quads are around 23", calves 16". That's all the measurements I remember off the top of my head.

Re: done bulking

Excellent work man!! To look at your pics at the beginning of this post and see your contest pics is a real motivation for anyone. Thanks for posting up pics and all the info, I am sure you are helping everyone by seeing first hand how hard work and dedication pays off. I will begin cutting soon and can only hope my end results are as good as yours, especially leaning out while maintaining muscle. One again, nice work and thanks for all the updates!

Thanks bro, it has been an evolution. I hope this thread helps some people see that if you put into practice, some of the things that are talked about in this site, you can make a positive change in your physique. I'm by no means a guru or think I know everything about everything. I know what works for me though. If you have some questions and think I can help or need some advice, holler at me.

I concur! The sequence of pics is great for motivation and is a testament to your effort and determination. You've already accomplished what most of us can only wish for!! Good luck in your ongoing prep :)

Thanks, maing. I hope to be a light heavyweight this time next year. Perhaps I will be able to document that transformation as well.

Re: done bulking

You are a machine!!!!!!! A total machine!

Hey what do you lift? Or is that posted somewhere in here in the past 11 pages...

Re: done bulking

Thanks Bran and Sweed. I'm not too sure what my maxes are, but I usually work out with 275 for reps on the bench and I'll usually get up to around 415 for squats. I don't go much over 295 for dead lifts. I'm sure I can do more, but despite my username, a one rep maximum doesn't mean much to me.

Re: done bulking

I have no idea what I max I just care about working weights
damn those are big working weights for a guy who weighs 175
thanks for not letting me down, ok now let's get working on that light heavyweight class!!!! :)

I'm not in "full bulk mode" yet. If I compete in July I'll need to weigh about 164 to be in the weight class that I need to be in. After that it's swoleup.com time.

can you keep the cuts for another whole 2-3 months??
I'm not going to try to. My comp is the end of July so depending on how much I have to lose, I'll probably start in early June. I was 172 or so in those pics. This afternoon, I was 187. I will probably get close to 200 again, so I may have to do cardio for the July show. (if I do it)

I forgot what you looked like near 200, heh ...

You look fucking awesome in those last pics.

agreed, huge tramsformation! I can't wait for my comp now.... almost exactly 5 months away

hey one rep..thats an amazing transformation bro...you deserve all the comments and more from the board that posted...you really did do it to the T...im proud of you bro! It's also delightful to see someone go through basically the same journey i did...I think we are definately alike in many ways..it takes a special person to do what we do. Im 24...and started dieting for my current contest at 225lbs and maybe 22% bodyfat 4 months ago..and currently 175 and shredded, basically your size, 6 days out...just anxious i hit my poses right and come in dry and full. But back to you...it's definately nice to see these kinds of threads, which are very rare, but when they come around, they really light up the place. I hope you do well in your late july show bro...im sure youll do even better...as you learn more each time you diet down..=)
Train hard!

Thanks guys. I definitely learned alot in the process. Some of the pics don't work anymore because the places that hosted them stopped hosting them. I plan to compete again in August 2007. I'll be a light heavy weight.

hey bro first of all you look great. that said I'm sure you want suggestions too.

arm looks great in first pose (bicep) in third pose I would try to find an angle that allows your bis to look peakier. whether rotating your arms back I don't know.

also your legs seem to be lagging in terms of definition. I would really want to see the difference between the quads and hams better. loks like it may be a matter of concentrating on flexing those muscles harder, looks like you are concentrating more on flexing your upper body.

could be the lighting, dunno.

looks like you have the calf flex down though, you can really see it.

of the 4 pics I would say the first two are pretty good. the one you need the most work on is the third one.

there are all kinds of little tips for holding certain body parts against others to make them look bigger, angles, etc.

oh yeah another thing I would do is work on giving a really stunning smile even when you are miserably dehydrated, flexing every muscle in your body as hard as you can, and tired as hell. you gotta flash those pearly whites bor! :D
