Training women

ironwings might be able to help you out here she does alot of circuit work but she hasnt been online in a while maybe she is a bit busy...

Ironwings has had her female clients puke on more than one occasion with her circuits. I'm not sure if gladiator is ready to take his clients to that level yet lol.

As soon as they feel that tightness in their thighs and glutes, there will be no issues. They will know. After 4 weeks and that butt starts sitting back up a little (like it did when they were 16), you'll be getting referrals.

Good luck.

Thank you!!

im already having all my clients understand that strength traiing is strength training, fat loss is from cardio. sure circuits are fine to throw in but there shoule be a solid strength routine in there as well. Im alsotelling them to work up to 4-5 days a week of 30 minites cardio at 75% MHR

IM having them do 15 reps right now of each exercise, but will eventually go down to 12 and heavier, and also introduce them to squats deadlifts and bench with bb's

WOuld it be neccessary to put a really fat girl on bb squats? i fell like there body full of fat wont even let them do the exercise right so they should lose fat before doing them, stick to leg extensions and leg presses till the lose some fat? im talking about pretty obese people

Yeah, do presses and hack squats (if you have them) for the obese. Definitely no leg extensions. Stick with exercises that have the most functional and have the most bang for their buck. Nowhere in nature (that i'm aware of) is there a movement that works the quads without the hamstrings in unison. Nowhere except for the leg extension machine :) Focus on muscle systems.

Lol i hate when they think they know everything but i gues thats how it will always be. I will get them to drop the leg extensions, ive always hated it anyway

thanks bro

I have seen fat obese women do partial squats and DL's

Obviously they cannot do ATG but they seem to be able to do partial squats.

Definitely agree with 1breadth re: hacks > extensions.

body weight squats and deads would be the most beneficial. It will build muscle and work the heart. Most importantly it will teach them to move their bodies again and build confidence.

ok cool yea seems to make sense that the leg is meant to squat not to extend LOL

Once they establish the right form on squat for bodyweight squats, ill add dumbbells and eventually move to the bar in the squat rack. I love my girl clients that are so willing to do the squats with the bb! Its awesome and they feel it a lot. They also feel the db deadlifts, hmm wonder why

This is getting pretty easy. Ive only been seeing my clients for the last 10 days, but I know i will get them results. I know a lot and this site helps me out to no end. Thanks everyone
