Training with a hangover

Hell YES!

but I would advise medium intensity cardio, nothing high-impact.
Just slowly work your way up to a sweat, WHILE drinking gallons and gallons of isotonic beverages. Toxins out, fluids in. hang, over!

If one is so concerned about training and performace that one is worried about whether or not it's safe to workout, then one wouldn't have gotten smashed the night before an important workout, if ever.

Just my very judgemental .02.

ouch!!! thanks MOM...LOL!! blame it on the Ducks

I just don't like to see anyone getting hurt. If you want to party, party. You have to live a little. Just plan your workouts around it. Things don't get processed and recovered the same, your immune system's not the same, when you're drunk/hungover. Just be careful. :)

Did you at least drink it straight, or did you have to be a pansy and use salt and a lemon?? Seriously, don't do any Olympic Lifting, if anything just some cardio to break a sweat, anything too serious would be a waste, you'll get nothing out of it.

well, sweating for one thing I am guessing helps rid your body of some of the toxins....still in your system....

a lot of guys I know who worked construction would go to work in 100 degree weather and sweat it out, feel better by lunch time...

lifting/exercising also stimulates natural endorphin release....

If I was severly hung over.....forget it...but being moderately hung over, I will often try to get my ass to the gym.

I hear that!!! Feel the same way...working out makes me feel A LOT better. I don't go in there thinking I am going to break PRs, I just think of it as more of an active recovery from the previous night...

ah.......... me and tequilla........... we have a good relationship. but she never bothers me when i have to train the next day. now, after a workout, and after a butt load of food........

We Dance Together!!!!!!!!!!:elephant: :elephant:

I can't imagine being hungover and attempting to squat over 400lbs or perform partial deadlifts with 600lbs. Theres no way on gods green earth that I would train.
