Let the healing begin? Ohhh yeah.

I did 6 sets of the modified hang cleans I was talking about tonight... the final two sets were brutal... after that, all I could muster was 2 sets of high rep reverse flies for rear delts... then my shoulders were spent.

I then moved on to triceps and knocked out 5 sets of skullcrushers, I did a relatively high reps (around 16-20) with 105lbs and then moved up a little higher for a lower rep weight 8-10. I finished up with some brutal close grips...

You know, funny thing about close grips... if you ask someone if they want to do close grips or rope pull downs, 99 people out of 100 will chose the ropes/cable exercise... I do'nt like those... if it doesn't feel like your wrists are breaking, It's not getting the job done. ;)

Anyway, I had a good week of working out this week... I come here to express my thoughts after my workouts... so that I can "get it out" so to say... it helps me.

You should really think about trying some board presses man...you might really like the stress that they put on your triceps...

What are these? Would you mid explaining or posting a link or something?

Old farm terms.. I grew up on a farm. We had an enormous woods, and sometimes we'd get wind storms... well, trees would fall down and huge branches... alot of times, the tractor couldn't get into where we had to pull them out of (say a ditch or creek), so you'd either have to lift and flip them from end to end, or roll them... also, if it was to heavy, you'd have to lasso a rope around it (or chain) and hook it to a solid base and pull...

I remember my triceps being EXTREMELY sore after doing that as a youngster... I mean, my back, legs and everything else was sore, but I remember my triceps feeling almost destroyed.

As a practical exercise, I wouldn't suggest them... but if you want some demonstrations, I should got to the family photo album back home and scare up some pictures of when I was younger... might be some demonstrations in there. ;)

I know just what you mean, now. I grew up on a farm with about 50 acres of woods. We lived on top of a huge hill, so when it stormed we got plenty of wind and the trees came tumbling down...
