We've had our Hitachi for over a year and it gets used a lot and we've never had any problems with it. The white tip is big and spongey so it's not too hard on the clit. If you get one, try letting it barely touch your clit for a while before putting any pressure on it. It feels great gently teasing the lips too. We got some attachments too, but I don't care for them, a waste of money IMO.
