Total Estrogen 194/ Estradiol 18...WTF !!!!!

I have a total estrogen of 194 (130 or less) and an Estradiol level of 18 (<43)! I've been trying to dial in my Estradiol level. I suspected it was high due to dizziness, redness of the skin, hot flashes, and moodiness.

I have been on TRT for two years now trying to find the right dosages that work for me. I was recently taking 125 mg Test Enanthate for about 9 weeks and .25mg adex EOD, but I became dizzy and felt really bad so I lowered the dose to 60mg one week, then 80 mg the next then back to 110mg a week. The symptoms pretty much subsided. My Dr. switched me to Test Cyp and I plan to continue as follows:

110 mg Test Cyp a week
.25 Arimidex EOD

I thought for sure when I got my labs back that the Estradiol would be high, boy was I suprised. Now I really don't know what to do because if I increase my adex dosage to lower the total Estrogen, my E2 will be in the toilet. Please help!!!!!

BTW I did a peak test (two and a half days after my shot) on my last labs because I suspected my E2 was high, the results are:

Total Test: 1336 250-1100
Free Test: 311.6 35.0-155.0

u may need to lower ur test dose again, these numbers u posted in ur last labs (total 1336 and free 311.6) r these on the 110mg ? ur still high. what was ur E2 on this test ? was it the same test that put ur total E at 194 and E2 at 18 ?
don't lower ur E2 too much ur gona suffer from that and a high total E is not what cause the sides it's mostly E2.
did u check ur BP ? Lipid Panel ? full blood test.
u may be enough with 100mg or even 75mg/w but no matter what the dose split it in 2 weekly shots u'll minimize a lot of the sides ur talking about.

Hey X-man, thx for the response, Yes, the lab numbers were on a 110mg dose, and the same test that put my total E at 194 and E2 at 18, 2 1/2 days after injection. My E2 on this test was 18. Blood pressure is perfect, lipids are ok, HDL was good, LDL a little high, not much. Hematocrit/Hemoglobin/RBC's all good. I take .25mg Adex EOD. Any suggestions on the ADEX? Am I taking too much, or too little, too often.....Thanks!

just one more question r u having any of the high estro symptoms like mood swings depression anxiety hot flashes water retention acne breakthrough ......

if not then u r fine with ur total estro , ur E2 is fine and that's what usually cause the symptoms, as for estrone and estriol which constitute the total amount of estro added to estradiol (E2) of course usually don't have that much of an effect on men.

ur adex protocol looks fine dose and frequency, u might lower ur total test dose to 80 mg again and see if u'll still feel great on it while minimizing the sides, like heightened LDL and estro. and maybe potential future sides as u r in the 1300's and that's a bit high but still within normal therapy range.
btw don't forget to split ur weekly dose to 2 shots as it'll prevent a lot of andro and estro sides as it minimizes peaks and valleys and give u a constant level all week long, for egg. 80mg/w is divided to 2 40mg/w shot on mon and thu.
r u using HCG in ur hrt ?

So you think I should keep doing the Adex .25mg EOD regardless of what day I take my injections. Just wondering if it's any different than the weekly shot protocol. As for HCG, I tried it before and I got really bad anxiety and hot flashes, I guess it's from a huge Estrogen rush or something. I'm looking for a good protocol to take HCG and Bi-Weekly shots.....Any advice? Also HCG is very expensive from my Dr., wonder if I can get my insurance to cover it? good to hear u'r improving on the split, yes keep taking the adex like u r now, and in case u want to add hcg u'll only need 250 iu twice a week u can do them at the same day of ur test shot it doesn't matter but try to cut down from ur weekly test dose with it if ur that prone to estro peaks like i am, since hcg will make the difference so i say instead of two 55mg test shots per week make it two 40mg test with two 250iu hcg (sub-q) per week and keep taking the same adex even if ur having less peaks now when splitting but just in case ur too sensitive from hcg, leave it like this for a while and report back ur results.

like i told u in the last reply it doesn't matter since ur almost constant all week long when spligting ur test dose so just do hcg on the same days with ur test shots same time.
