Too sensitive?

Seriously, I am not male-bashing. I have been told that I am too sensitive before and it is quite possible that that is the case now.

But does anyone get offended or feel bad when they read posts on this bored calling women bitches, whores, cum dumpsters. Or saying things like: shove a Coke bottle up her pussy or you should beat that bitch for (insert reason here).

Do a search on any of the words and phrases I typed in and you will see what I am talking about.

I have read posts by guys wondering why there are not more women on the board and maybe these posts are one reason.

What do you think?

Are you referring to the women's board? I've been around a few months, read the boards pretty regularly & have never seen those things - at least not meant seriously.

Moderator Problem

I am new here, but am disappointed with this moderators indifference to a very serious concern of this poster.
This also concerns me as the fitness community has this stigma associated with it.
I just did a search for "bitch" on elitefitness, which came back with 5617 hits, and most on the list were not sheets posts.
A threat by the moderator to giraffe, with no concern for the problem she posted, doesn't help in any way.

In defense of a very fine moderator. There are several boards on the Elite Fitness Site - many of which are the playground of adolescent males it seems. It is not the job of the moderator's to be everyone's mommy and daddy. I think if you stick around you will find that there is ZERO tolerance for bad behavior on the Women's Discussion Board. If these kinds of things are offensive to you then I would avoid the places where they are said.
