3/9/05

8:00am- 3/4 c. egg beaters and 2sl. whole wheat bread

10:30- 1.5 scoops protein shake and 1/2c. heart to heart cereal

1:15-4 slices ff turkey, 1 tbs. natty PB

I did HIIT cardio this morning on an empty stomach. I'm on week #4 of Shadow's project and so far on that plan i've gone from 136 to 128 and dropped about 1-1.5 sizes (guessing-all my clothes are too big on me now) When I got my bf tested (weight was at 130), the trainer said I was at 21.1% (YUCK) and that i need to lose about 15 more lbs and get to 115.

NICE.....


Word of caution......dont use a number like "15 pounds"......that would drop your bodyfat to sub-10 levels.

cals are just a tad under...if hunger is an issue add some pb or allmonds/pecan before bed
 
Thanks Shadow, lately I have been feeling a little hungrier than usual. I'll do that tonight. My shoulders are freakin' killing me today!! I did my shoulder workout last night and I can't even undo my seatbelt without feeling my muscles tense up!! I love it. Those TUT's are what kill me!! I'm getting definition in my shoulders and i likey ;)
 
haha :) Thanks, but now i need help!!!! Somebody made a banana cream pie and it's homemade and that is my absolute FAVORITE!!!! I need everyone to call me a fat ass and tell me not to have a slice!!!!!

I forgot to log my HIIT cardio for this morning.

I did a 15 minute warm-up and then 7 cycles at 45secs 100%effort and 75sec recovery. I practically had to swim away from the stair stepper because I was sweating so much!!!

you can:

A - Work out long

B - Work out hard

yeah, I definitely like option B. Although hard and long together in certain things isn't so bad.

Anyways, i had a question about the Saturday workout. Instead of doing taebo or pilates can i do a long steady run or is that not a good workout to trade out. I can make it to a class at my gym that is like a boot camp class but the weather is getting so nice that I figured if I could get out and run about 5 or 6 miles, that would be good.
 
I was wondering the same. I don't have any pilates or tae bo dvds. So I will just do some areobics or something. I am going rollerskating w/the kids on sunday :)

Is 89 grams of carbs too low?? I hope not because I have changed my diet so much and I don't know if I can add anymore food into the day!!! I feel like i'm going to barf if I eat anymore!

These are the only two pics i have right now that I took Feb. 19th. God, i didn't realize how bad they were!!! :worried: but not too much longer and i'll hopefully have pics like bunny, miss24k, skittles, canadian cutie, courtney, and so on and so on!! you girls are all great motivation! :)

LOL :) Thansk Jens. This actually will make it a little easier to post my progress pics.

I know I am my own worst critic but I'm actually starting to notice and like my changes and how I'm going to look in the summer so that's a start!! I really think that society is what makes girls become their worst critics though! I'm slowly getting better and not being so hard on myself. :)

Don't use the word "toned". Bad word. :D Doesn't really mean anything, anyway. Use the word "defined" or "Shaped".

BTW - you look great to start with...and I think most every one of us is working on that little pouch in front. I've got one too, and it will probably be the last thing to go (on me, that is.).

I did a kick-boxing/weight lifting/cardio class this morning that kicked my butt for an hour.

11:00- 1 cup cereal/fat free milk

12:30- 1.5 scoops protein shake

My weekend meal times are always off. I need to work on that...
 
3/14/05

I slacked off on my log this weekend. I'm going to be good this weekend for sure!!

8:00- 3/4c. egg beaters, 2 sl. whole wheat bread

10:30- 1/2c. heart to heart cereal.

12:00- kind of bad, I went to a birthday lunch and had a salad and a 1/2 of a chicken sandwich and some bread :( Too many carbs and I'm feeling it but I'll get back on track.

5:00- preworkout shake

6:00-leg workout!!! My butt was on fire the whole time especially with the step-ups.

7:00-PWO shake and 30g. sugar

8:30-back to the gym to do the HIIT cardio i missed in the morning.. oops

-today wasn't such a great day with my eating but i'm getting back on track.

I totally agree. I'm slowly getting there but for some reason i have just never had the greatest confidence when it comes to my looks.
 
I took 2 clens today and I've been off of it for about a month and I am sooooo jittery!! When is the best time to take it? After a certain meal? Before a workout? after?

I'm planning on posting some more pics on Sunday or Monday but we'll see how I feel at that point. Knowing i'm going to put pics up I know that will help keep me on track after my bad lunch splurge the other day for a friend's birthday :(

same exact meals as the past logged meals except 3rd meal at 1:00 will be my turkey slices and natty PB instead of those "unscheduled meals" that I snuck in there earlier in the week and last week.

I just had another 1/2c. of heart to heart cereal for some carbs. I was feeling a little weak and light headed. That's another 16 carbs, 2.5 pro, .5 fat and 72 cals.

With my scheduled plan that puts me at a total of Pro-176, Carbs-105, Fat-29, Cals-1409.

Shoulder workout: keep in mind my shoulders are little bitches right now!!
side lateral raises-12 1/2, 10, 10, 10 4 sets at 12 reps each
45 angle incline lateral raises- 20, 10, 10, 10 I could only do 5 frickin' reps but they really burned bad!!
dumbell press-15, 20, 15, 15 12 reps on each set
upright rows-40, 30, 30, 30 12 reps on each set

Ab workout

incline sit ups-3 sets 6 tut 10 reps each
hypers- 12 1/2 lbs, 3 sets 6 tut 10 reps
hanging leg raises-KILLER!!! 14, 10, 10 (so hard but feel good)

7:00-45g. sugar/PWO shake 1 scoop

at about 8:45-9 I'm going to have 4 slices of FF turkey and 1 tbsp. PB.
 
3/18/05

6:00am-HIIT cardio on empty stomach. Elliptical trainer for 30 minutes at 8 cycles, level 15 for 45 secs, level 2-4 for 75 recovery. Kicked my butt!!!! I notice a much bigger difference now that I do my cardio in the early mornin' as opposed to before i started this plan and did my cardio after work.

8:00-3/4c.egg beaters with 2 sl ww bread

10:45-1/2c h2h cereal, 1.5 scoops whey protein shake

I'm going to a Spurs game tonight!!!!! I'm so excited but I'm gonna have to take my PB and turkey with me and eat it in the car tonight otherwise I will miss my meal!

I'm logging my later meals now because I know that's exactly what i'll be having until my turkey and pb tonight. my glucorell-r shipped and should be here on mon or tues of next week so i can't wait to start taking that. Can dandelion root be purchased in any store??? I don't think i've ever seen it anywhere but then again it's because i've never looked for it. Thanks!

Totals so far (still have 3 more meals)-Cals-690, Fat-19, Pro-93, Carbs-31


I need to get some more carbs in today, I missed out on some carbs from my cereal because i left my box of Kashi at work! bummer.

Hey shadow-I did some of that "vigorous interval HIIT" cardio today too...if you know what i mean....gotta love my boyfriend since he helps up my cardio!

leg raises on a bench with my bum off of the end-does that make sense? I was lying on my back and holding on with my hands next to my head and at the top of the move, lifted my hips up and then brought them back down parallel to the ground-3 sets of 15. WOOWEE! I"m gonna be hurting tomorrow!!!

6:30-HIIT 45 secs at 9.0mph, recovery 75 secs at 12incline(the highest this particular treadmill went) at 4.5mph. That was my first time bumping up the speed for the intensity to 9.0 so it felt great. Thanks Bunny for putting 10.5mph goal in my head!!! I'm on my way! ;)
