......How many sets do you like to do when "on". I basically do the same exercises with the same rest periods in betwen, but like to throw in one more exercise with 3 sets of it. For instance if on back day I usually do:

5x5 deads
3x10 pullups
3x10 bent over rows

But if I'm on the sauce I would do:

5x5 deads
3x10 pullups
3x10 bent over rows
*3x10 of a different exercise each week.

What about you guys??
 
I like really low volume whether I'm off or on. I'll do my main exercise for 1 work set, then 2 assistance exercises for 2 work sets each.



For example:

Bench 1x5
Incline 2x5
Military 2x5
 
LEE he's here......I stay in 8 rep range and keep major body parts at 16 or less sets......thats me....training forum is where you wanna be...

4 sets per excersise, 4 excersises for major body parts, 3 excersises for minor
