Boiling water is often recommended to sterilize and kill bacteria. Water boils at around 220 degrees farenheit.
 
yeah i shouldve said all bacteria.. i guess 250 is better than nothing but some certain types of bacteria will survive..
 
If I remember correcty, and I like to believe that I do, Animals procedure was 250 3x with 15-20 cooling in between. Just as I stated before. Any vets remember? I cannot find the old posts with the swamp ass goolge search (although I looked for a half an hour - Geez I should get some K love for all that work) but I am quite sure I am right.

the idea is the actual heating kills the bacteria so you do it a few times to kill everything.

is there a way to track who you've given karma to???? there has to be! that post was awesome. I would greatly appreciate it if I were able to view it again.........
