Anybody follow the UFC ??? Who do you guys think will win in this light heavyweight brawl ???


I think Tito is going to teach the old man a lesson!!!!
 
i have a hard time thinking tito can beat him... shamrock is still a bad man... did you see when tito fought frank... frank toyed with him and then just finished it... exactly what he said he would do... never bet against a shamrock.
 
Tito is cool. He showed a lot of respect to Frank Shamrock after he lost to him by putting Frank's shirt on.

Ken is overrated and he will gas by the 3rd round!

Shamrock is much stronger then Tito. Only problem w/ Ken is me may tire before Tito....

If he can hold out his endurance I think he will easily over power Tito.


I can remember back 6 or seven years ago me and my boys saw Ken Shamrock at the Tunnel in NYC bumping K!!!!!

Tito is tough. Better on his feet than in the ground game. I do not like his round about way of delivering elbows. If he delivered the way Vitor Belfort delivers elbows, he would be better off.

Ken is a Legend. Better on the ground than on his feet. Kind of reminds me of Mark Kerr, The Titan.

I think it will be a battle. Shamrock is favored in my eyes.

But I did see when he was talking shit to Guy Metzger after he beat him. That wasn't cool.
 
On the subject but off the topic. Any of you guys ever watch King Of The Cage?

Dan Severn, a longtime UFC fighter was on King Of The Cage the other night. He beat this fat fuc*ing guy who was 20 years younger and didn't respect him. Do you remember Dan? 6-2 about 265. Looks like the DAD you never want to meet! lol.

The King of the cage competition itself is dissapointing though. The rules are changed as opposed to the UFC.

I saw that on sunday. It was pretty good, but the guys who handled the production duties for KOTC were RETARDED. I've seen highschool A/V kids that could do a better job. They got the stats wrong on the fighters so many times it was rediculous. And the crowd looked like they got let out of the mental institution.

but I do like mixed martial arts stuff though.

I saw Dan Severn fight in UFC back the last couple of years. He was a great wrestler.

My question for you now is, who is the roided up monster security guard that chews his gum four hundred miles per hour? He should be in the fuc*ing ring. He is the bald guy they show in all those pre-fight videos. Me and my roomate were watching it and everytime he would come on the screen, we would lose it. Should I mention the fact that we were smoking pot? lol.

Your right about the crowd. It was hilarious, looks like they handed out tickets at a local leper high school. Mixed martial arts is the shi* though.

he beat the shit out of that guy. 16 seconds. the guy was out on his feet. Phil Baroni is a total asshole though.

polishhammer1977 - yeah I didn't get the point of that big guy. He didn't ref, he didn't fight, he was like..... like.... some sort of male eye candy. For who, I don't know. He was useless. But supposedly he was the king of the cage.

Some of the "classic" king of the cage matches were entertaining though.
 
I am leaning towards Shamrock in this brawl.

Tito is good, young, and can fight, but I feel that Shamrock has slight edge in the power department and is much better at grappling.

Either way, it's gonna be a good show.

You took the words right out of my mouth man. He is definitely some form of eye candy for the non-women likers out there.

Baroni took batting lessons from my dad when he was younger. He was a talented high school wrestler who learned how to box. I know he has a brother too. He is a cocky guy but I think it all ends when he gets outside the ring. He was a nice kid when he was younger.

Your right, great submission wrestler and yes it was King Of The Cage. He won in about 2 minutes against a guy nicknamed "The Bear". Dan Severns' record was recorded before the fight as
0-0-0. Good job fight statisticians! lol

that's a perfect example about how poor the production values were for that show. they didn't do replays when they wanted to, the announcer fucked up the statistics... it was bad.

I dont like either fighters- they are both dickheads but I hope Shamrock takes it too Tito's punk ass. He has no respect and is a general dumbass. Shamrock is like that annoying guy on the wrestling team when your in highschool and he always says dumb shit but no one wants to fight him so they just let him. haha.

the reason he looks so out of shape is that he had to lose weight for that fight which is an handicap at this level and I respect him for that and for all that things he did in the past !!

About 7 years ago, he was one of the most dangerous looking dudes around. Now he is just dangerous. He has the look of a bully who got bullied and now he's back for blood.
 
Yea that was a lilttle harsh but I was just telling my opinion. Ken is still a good fighter but this is Tito. I am a submission wrestler and im very confident but I dont want to turn this into a how bad everyone is thread again. :) KA-BAR is a USMC Fighting knife.

Thanx for clarifying that KB. You gave me my "learn something new stat" for today. Another good point about the thread. Lets keep it fundamental I say.
Obviously the juice will take its toll sooner or later. Physically, Ken displays a powerful body. What is going on inside of it is a mystery except to him. To me, after seeing that picture, he doesn't look right. Something seems off. With all that. He is still a dangerous man. It would be more than interesting to get into the ring with him too.
Tito will be Tito. Just deliver those elbows straight down. No rounding elbow delivery this time okay!
I still like Shamrock in this fight.
 
If Shamrock wins it is in Tito's contract for a rematch......I think that Ken will win and then rematch him later in a couple of months...then drop the title to him......retiring quitely and going back to wrestling.

I think Tito outmatches Ken in this one. Tito did very well at the Abu Dahbi Combat Championships (ADCC). He shouldn't get caught in a submission.

Tito is an excellent MMA wrestler. He will put Ken on his back and cut him.

I think Ken would love to get back into the WWE, but if he loses, I don't see it happening. His stock will be diminished, plus he is up there in age. They already have legitimate "bad-asses" in Lesnar (NCAA champ.) and Angle (Olympic Gold). They really don't need the "Worlds Most Dangerous Man" anymore.

yeah, he devistated meanne, in like 16 seconds if I'm not mistaken. He reminded me of a Vitor Belfort with his hand speed. The dude was knocked out on his feet basically.
