I just noticed that my tire has a bubble in it...is there something that can be done w/o having to replace it?

No, it's done. Change it before you have a blowout. It cannot be fixed.

Seriously...

Go to www.tirerack.com . There you can search for tires and read recommendations on tires from actual people who have different driing styles (city only driving, combination of city and highway, highway,etc.). They also show you the lowest price for a specific tire in your area if you enter your zipcode.

400 for a tire? WTF?
Thing better have depleted Uranium meshing or somethin'...

I have an 02 Maxima with a 17" rim and I paid about $120/tire a few months ago. You're not going to have to fork out $400 for a tire. Just make sure you hit a National Tire & Battery as opposed to going to the Nissan dealer. Nissan will want $200 and change for the tire.
