Astroglide and KY ARE water based and safe to use with condoms. You can't use things like babyoil or vasseline with condoms....I don't know why oils breakd down the materials in condoms, but the do.

So, yes use a condom and Astroglide or KY!

Use KY (or other water based lubes) only if you're wearing a condom. If you were doing anal without condoms, then you could use an oil based lube, but only for anal, using oils for vaginal intercourse will cause yeast infections.
